Armor are items worn by the player to protect themselves. Leather Armor is the weakest, and Diamond Armor is the strongest.
Armor Classes[]
Leather[]
Leather Armor is the weakest, but has some advantages. But It can be Dyed
Gold[]
Gold Armor is the 4th best. Gold boots provide 1 armour. Gold helmets giving 2 armour points. Gold Chestplate Gives 3 armour points.
Chain[]
Chain Armor is different from every other Armor, since its see-through. Chain Armor is only available through cheats or from trading with villagers or dungeon chests. Chain Armor is the 3rd best.
Iron[]
Iron Armor is the 2nd best, and is very common among cheats-off players, as iron is very common. Iron is better to use than Gold since Gold has less durability.
Diamond[]
Diamond Armor is the 2nd best, as it fills up the whole Armor bar, and has the 2nd most durability.
Netherite[]
Netherite is the newest armor type but by far is the best, it provides more protection and has the most durability. It can be obtained by putting a piece of Diamond Armor into a smithing table and a Netherite ingot, which will convert it into a Netherite piece of gear.

Helmet[]
Helmets are Armor that can be worn on the head, and can have certain enchantments. Helmets add 1 Armor Point (0.5) for Leather, 2 (1) for Gold, Chain and Iron and 3 (1.5) for Diamond.
Chestplate[]
Chestplates are Armor that is worn on the chest, and can have certain enchantments. Chestplates add 3 Armor Points (1.5) for Leather, 5 (2.5) for Gold and Chain, 6 (3) for Iron, and 8 (4) for Diamond.
Leggings[]
Leggings are Armor that are worn on the legs and can have certain enchantments. Leggings add 2 Armor Points for Leather, 3 (1.5) for Gold, 4 (2) for Chain, 5 (2.5) for Iron and 6 (3) for Diamond
Boots[]
Boots are Armor that can be worn on the feet and can have certain enchantments. Boots add 1 Armor Point (0.5) for Leather, Gold, and Chain, 2 (1) for Iron, and 3 (1.5) for Diamond.
Crafting[]
A stands for Leather, Iron Ingot, Gold Ingot, Fire (item), or Diamond Gem, you can use any ONE of them to make different types of armor e.g. Leather Helmet is all leather, Diamond Chestplate is all diamonds, etc.
